How to Disable E-mail Shortcut for 2012 Released Printers

Overview

This document will guide you on how to disable or remove the Email shortcut
showing on the printer’s control panel.

Procedure

Disabling the Email shortcut
is done by going to the printer’s Email Settings
from the embedded webserver
(EWS
). Follow these steps below:

Open the printer’s EWS by typing printer’s IP address on a browser.

Go to Settings
> E-mail/FTP Settings > E-mail Settings > scroll down and look for “Allow Save as Shortcut
”.

Uncheck the box for the “Allow Save as Shortcut
” and make sure to click the Submit
button to save the changes.
