Overview
The Append time stamp feature on either the
Scan Center
or Scan to Network
(SNF
) app ensures that scanned files will not
have the same file name.The information added to the file name consists of a series of integers, each separated by an
underscore
("_") character. In total, eight
elements are added to the name (e.g., Set scan name_2015

The following are the elements that make up the file name:
Element | Description |

Year | A four -digit number that represents the Gregorian calendar year. |
Month | A two -digit number that represents the unit of time for a lunar phase in the Gregorian calendar with a 01 to 12 range. |
Day | A two -digit number that represents a solar day made up of a 24-hour period with a 01 to 31 range. |
Hour | A two -digit number that represents a period of 60 minutes with a 01 to 24 range. |
Minute | A two -digit number that represents a period of 60 seconds with a 00 to 60 range. |
Second | A two -digit number that represents the number of periods of an atomic clock with a 00 to 60 range. |
Millisecond | A three -digit number that represents a period measured in one thousandth of a second with a 000 to 999 range. |
Page Count | A three to four -digit number that represents the number of pages scanned in a current job with a 001 to 1000 range.This value is only included when scanning JPEG* and/or single-page TIFF* file types. will always remain in a YYYY_MM_DD
format regardless of locale, and date format is set on the printer via the Embedded Web Server

) > Settings
> General Settings
> Date Format
