Enabling SMBv3 protocol:
2010 NOTE:
Manually enabling SMBv3 is possible with EC6 release version LH60.xx.P647
. Starting with this version, you can access the embedded web server (EWS
), locate General Settings
and check the Enable SMBv3
.
Other versions, e.g.,
LHS60.xx.P615
orLHS60.xx.P646
,will require SMBv3 enablement via individual app.
To do this:
- Download the UCF file that contains the UCF keys to enable SMBv3 support for the following eSF Apps:
- Scan to Network
- Card Copy
- Device Quotas
- Downtime Reporting
- Accuread Automate
- Fax Forward
- This UCF file must be imported from the main Import/Export webpage:Settings>Import/Export>Import Embedded Solutions Settings File.
2019 NOTE:
The following non-esf models of the 2012 generation do not support SMBv3
and therefore do not support the steps for enabling it within this article:
- MX310
- MX317
- XM1135
- CX310
- CX317
